Who we are

Louve Design's Sub-Brand was born in 2021 in a community that welcomes people of all kinds--Rieka is embodied by a wolf that leads first with its heart.  He is a peaceful ruler. The word Rieka also means ‘The power of the land’.
Situated on the edge of the Pacific Northwest, in Tofino on traditional Tla-o-qui-aht land. Rieka is influenced by the community, the ocean, beaches and forest that surrounds it, it is inspired by the beauty and the grit that is the backbone of surf culture.
It is here that we play, surf, skate & create and keep chasing the sweet, sweet life. 
At Rieka, we are transparent about our message and our craft. We are an ethical, sustainable apparel brand that promotes local artists who also represent our message.
Our clothing is made with social responsibility at the forefront. We try hard to work within the smallest carbon footprint possible, with a focus on using recycled, renewable and eco-friendly materials.
Trying our best to ensure that all of our products and fabrics are ethically produced with sustainability in mind. 
Through art and action we promote unity, sustainability and connection to our environment. We aim to inspire & support the new creatives.
1% of our Tofino store profits is donated to the Tribal Parks Alliance, to protect the parks & wildlife in our area.
